Yellowstone Art Museum (YAM), the region’s leading and largest art museum dedicated to contemporary art, begins each ArtWalk event at 4 p.m.; Collector’s Corner artists attend to discuss and highlight their new work available for purchase. Free admission and parking, a cash bar, music and light hors d’oeuvres to welcome visitors. New YAM members get their first drink free.
Autumn ArtWalk highlights include the Murdock Gallery exhibition, “Earth to Earth: Sediment to Sentiment” featuring German artist, Anselm Kiefer. “Modernist Intersections: The Tia Collection” contains works from a private collection, including contemporary artists Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol and Bill Schenck.“My Hero: Contemporary Art & Superhero Action” is a multi-media, dynamic exhibition that explores the roles of iconic superheroes.
