ArtWalk Downtown Billings began in
1994. A group of visionary artists and community members
created the event held five times a year to celebrate
the culture of visual arts in the city of Billings.
This is our 18th season and our member galleries plan
and organize free receptions for Artwalkers to meet the
artists and visit their spaces designed to display art.
ArtWalk presents a wide range of art
that will certainly meet the wide range of interest of
Artwalkers. Paintings, drawings, pastels, sculpture,
ceramics, jewelry, encaustics, mixed media, photography,
printmaking, fiber arts, fine woodworking, and glass are
offered. Artists will be on hand to discuss their
work. It is a wonderful opportunity to buy original art.
Every ArtWalk, certain galleries will offer free
gifts to Artwalkers who stop by and fill out an entry
blank. The entry blank includes your email address so
that we can send you a reminder of an upcoming Artwalk.
Visit our website at
www.ArtWalkbillings.com to download a copy of the map
before ArtWalk and to route your tour of Billings’
galleries. ParkNRide is
available by the artWALKERSbus sponsored by Walkers
American Grill and Tapas Bar. ArtWalkers are also
encouraged to walk or ride their bikes. Bike racks are
located at several galleries along the route.
